The Aoyu narrow strip mill was completed in May 2014, with a total of 18 rolling mills and 320 lubrication points.
Currently, the monthly oil consumption for oil-air lubrication is 12 barrels/month, and the bearing consumption is 1.82 yuan/ton. If the production line were to use dry oil lubrication, the oil consumption would be approximately 30 barrels/month, and the bearing consumption would be approximately 2.5 yuan/ton.
With a daily output of 3000 tons, the savings in lubrication costs would be approximately 54,000 yuan/month, and the savings in bearing costs would be approximately 0.7 * 3000 * 30 = 63,000 yuan/month.
