Updating grease lubrication to oil air lubrication, pipelines need to be removed?

Release time:

2025-10-23

Existing grease-lubricated pipelines typically use ∮8 carbon steel pipes, which, being close to the main equipment, are prone to carbon buildup and gum deposits inside.

After converting to oil air lubrication, the oil air distributor requires highly clean pipelines, free of impurities.

Furthermore, oil air lubrication necessitates the use of stainless steel pipes. Compressed air can easily cause carbon steel pipes to rust, clogging the oil-air distributor and resulting in poor lubrication.

In summary, for these reasons, if the equipment is to be upgraded from grease lubrication to oil-air lubrication, the existing pipelines need to be dismantled and rearranged.
