The oil-air mixing block is a core component in an oil-air lubrication system, responsible for combining lubricating oil with compressed air to form a stable and controllable oil-air flow. Its design ensures precise lubrication delivery to critical friction points in high-performance industrial equipment.
Inside the mixing block, several functional channels are integrated, including a compressed air passage, oil inlet passage, return oil passage, and oil-air outlet passage. These channels work together to achieve efficient mixing and continuous lubrication.
Lubricating oil is first delivered by a progressive distributor into the oil inlet channel of the mixing block. At the same time, compressed air—regulated and throttled to a specific pressure and flow rate—enters through the air passage. Within the mixing chamber, the oil is atomized or carried in fine droplets by the airflow, forming a consistent oil-air mixture.
This oil-air mixture is then transported through the outlet channel into pipelines leading to downstream oil-air distributors or directly to lubrication points. The presence of a return oil channel also helps manage excess oil and maintain system balance, ensuring stable operation over time.
By precisely controlling both oil and air flow, the mixing block enables accurate lubrication with minimal oil consumption. It also helps maintain a clean lubrication environment, reduces friction and wear, and enhances overall equipment reliability.
