How low is the oil consumption of oil-air lubrication?

Oil-air lubrication, as a micro-lubrication method, boasts the highest lubricant utilization rate and the lowest oil consumption among centralized lubrication methods to date.

On continuous casting machines, the average oil consumption per lubrication point in an oil-air lubrication system is only about 1.5 ml/h.

On rolling mills, the average oil consumption per point is about 2 ml/h. This oil consumption is only a fraction of that of oil mist lubrication, a fraction of that of grease lubrication, and a portion of the oil lost through leakage in circulating oil system.
