Why does delayed maintenance lead to increased fuel consumption?

Release time:

2023-07-12

Many factors contribute to increased lubricating oil consumption, such as insufficient inspection, untimely equipment maintenance, excessive use of different types of grease, improper storage of lubricating oil, and poor cleanliness and infrequent cleaning within the hydraulic station.

Untimely maintenance is a significant contributor to increased oil consumption.

For example, leaks can occur due to poor sealing of oil pipe joints, weak welds in the oil tank, cracks or pinholes in the tank, leading to leaks, drips, and other oil spills.

Failure to address these issues promptly not only wastes energy, increases costs and consumption, but also severely pollutes the environment and hinders efficient production.
