SGZ-8 Manual Grease Filler Pump

Working Condition：

This manual lubrication pump is a small, manually operated pump that dispenses grease. It can be directly mounted on the machine's wall panel or frame. Combined with a dual-line lubricator, it forms a manual, terminal-type centralized lubrication system.

It is suitable for small, stand-alone equipment with low lubrication frequency (generally, lubrication intervals of 8 hours or more), piping lengths (DN20) not exceeding 35 meters, and lubrication points not exceeding 50 points, serving as a device for supplying grease to a centralized dry oil lubrication system.

Working Principle:

The manual lubrication pump supplies grease by manually operating a handle, which drives a rack-and-pinion-equipped oil plunger in a reciprocating motion via a pinion.

When the plunger is at its rightmost limit position (as shown in the right diagram), the volume of the left-end oil chamber increases, creating a vacuum. The grease in the reservoir then enters the left-end oil chamber under atmospheric and piston pressure. As the plunger moves to the left, it compresses the grease, opening check valve and allowing it to flow into the main oil supply pipe II via the directional valve. At this time, the volume of the right-end oil chamber gradually increases, drawing in grease. As the plunger returns to the right, the grease-filled chamber gradually decreases, compressing the grease and opening check valve, allowing it to flow into the main supply pipe II via the directional valve.

The reversing of the supply process is achieved through directional valve. Pulling out the directional valve handle discharges grease from the main pipe; pushing it in discharges grease from the main oil pipe.
